Who We Are

Community Baptist Church is a diverse, bilingual church. In spite of our differences in culture, ages, and even languages, you will find that we are a community of believers that is committed to one-another. We are diverse, yet united by our fierce commitment  to Jesus Christ. We are distinct in our commitment to obedience and love for the Word of God. Every service is either bi-lingual or translated into Spanish. Every message explains the Bible in its literal, historical context and makes application to our lives today. We worship together through music that is bi-lingual, traditional, encouraging, and God-honoring. We are an independent, Baptist church that is serious about following Scripture and glorifying God in all that we do.

We would love for you to join us for one of our services!

Our Pastor

Pastor Nick and his wife Lindsey were married in 2013. God has blessed them with four children. Nick is from Tidewater, Virginia. Lindsey grew up in Southern New Hampshire. Nick and Lindsey moved to Massachusetts in 2016. In 2020, they planted Community Baptist Church with a small group of believers.

The Stelzigs call Lawrence home and they love it. You may even see them around town walking to the local park or visiting the library and checking out way too many books. Pastor Nick is always ready to talk Boston sports, especially the Bruins. Lindsey loves to read and loves talking about a good book. Nick and Lindsey (and the kids) have been learning Spanish since 2022 and love to practice and learn. So, whether you prefer English or Spanish, if you see them around town, say hello. They would love to meet you.

Services

Sunday School - 10:00 AM

At Community we are committed to teaching the Bible. We know that the Bible contains all the answers for life's questions (2 Peter 1:3). We also believe we have the responsibility to teach others how to obey what God has commanded in a practical way. (Matthew 28:20). So at Community you will find practical, Bible classes for all ages from children to adults.

Lawrence Church Service
Bilingual Service
Sunday Service - 11:00 AM

The most-important service of the week is when we as a church meet together to worship our Savior. We like to think of our worship service as a little taste of heaven with bi-lingual, traditional music and hymns, Scripture readings, and a message from God's Word.

"One Another" Meal and Bible Study - Sundays 5:00 PM

In the Bible the church often enjoyed meals together (Acts 2:46). They also encouraged one another in their relationship with God. We see this in the "one-another" commands in Scripture (1 John 3:11, 1 Thes. 4:18, 1 Pet. 4:9, 1 Thes. 5:11). On Sunday evenings we enjoy a potluck style meal together followed by an encouraging time of fellowship and one-on-one or small group Bible studies.

Church Fellowship
Prayer Service - Wednesdays 7:00 PM
Lawrence Prayer

This is an incredibly important and encouraging time for our church as we pray through Scripture together (1 Tim. 1:1, Acts 2:42) and bear one another's burdens together (Gal. 6:2). There is nothing more refreshing in the middle of the week than stepping aside from the busyness of the week to pray together as a church family. If you will submit your prayer request on our Contact Us page, we will be sure to pray for you.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
